This is absolutely the fastest stand alone file transfer program I have ever found. It cannot be beat for forklifting entire paths or drives from one volume to another. As well as being fast, it eliminates the long filename limits that most copy programs balk about. It doesnt stop if there is a problem it logs the problematic filepath and moves along. It works flawlessly over networks. Some reviewers comment that the user interface is archaic but I disagree it is simple, not flashy, no expensive bells and whistles. It is truly a utilityprogram that is clean, easy, and a joy to use. I cant imagine life without it. Other reviewers have implied that it isnt fast enough to fill a network connection. Not true. This is a MUST HAVE utility for any serious system admin or user who needs to move data around. It is very lightweight and very fast. You must understand that there are a lot of things that influence file transfer speeds. Some are hardware disk subsystem read speeds, disk subsystem write speeds, system IO bus bandwidth, memory speed, CPU cycles some software anti malware software, OS overhead, other programs running, personal firewall software but I have tested this program against a lot of platforms with varying hardware configurations and I can confidently say that Tis not a bottleneck. Not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but this program is ignificantlyfaster than drag and drop when you are copying entire directories or even entire branches, especially via network.
